journey
into stillness

Diamond Rose Sanctuary is an intimate gathering space on the Connecticut coastline, created as a refuge for healing, presence, and reconnection with ourselves, with nature, and with community. It is both a retreat space and a living sanctuary, where breath, land, and human connection come into coherence.
The retreat begins with an opening gathering on Friday at 5:30pm and concludes on Sunday by 1pm. We recommend arriving by 5pm to settle in and transition into the space with ease.
We recommend bringing comfortable white or light colored clothing for the breathwork journeys, a bathing suit and towel for sauna and water access, layers for changing coastal weather, a journal, water bottle, and eye mask, and any personal items that support your practice. You are also welcome to bring flowers to offer to the altar. You will receive a more detailed preparation guide prior to arrival.
Retreats are intentionally intimate, typically limited to 14 participants. This allows for deeper connection, personalized guidance, and a more held and supported experience where each individual can be fully seen and met.

Yes. The retreat is designed with a natural rhythm of guided experiences and open space. You will have time to rest, walk the land, be by the water, journal, or soak in the hot tub. Integration happens not only in our sharing circles, but also in the quiet moments in between.
Yes. Many participants come on their own. This is a welcoming and supportive environment, and you will be held within a warm and connected group field.
The group is intentionally kept small to create a safe, intimate, and connected experience. Over the course of the retreat, participants often find a natural sense of trust, openness, and community emerging.
Each retreat is thoughtfully curated to support deep restoration and transformation. Experiences include guided Frequency Breathwork journeys, sound meditation and a Blue Lotus ceremony, meditation and integration circles, time in nature by the water and within the gardens, sauna, hot tub and optional cold plunges, nourishing chef prepared meals, and a fire ceremony. Each element is designed to gently guide you back into balance across body, mind, and spirit.
We encourage limited phone use during the retreat to support deeper presence and connection. You are welcome to use your phone when needed, but we invite you to treat this time as an opportunity to unplug and offer yourself the space of a digital detox.
This is a sober, substance-free space. No alcohol or drugs are permitted. We create a clear and grounded environment to support the depth of the work and the safety of all participants.
Kundalini Yoga is a practice rooted in ancient yogic traditions that works with the body, breath, sound, and awareness to awaken and harmonize the life force energy within. It is often described as a technology of the body, working with precise angles, movement, and breath to realign body, mind, and spirit. This energy, often referred to as Kundalini, is said to reside at the base of the spine. Through practices such as breathwork, movement, meditation, and mantra, Kundalini Yoga supports the gentle activation and flow of this energy through the chakras, or energetic centers of the body.
As this energy moves, it can support emotional release, expanded awareness, and a deeper connection to self and consciousness.Kundalini Yoga is not about forcing an experience, but about creating the conditions for the body and nervous system to feel safe enough to open. In a grounded and supported space, this process can unfold naturally, bringing greater coherence between body, mind, and spirit. As with all aspects of the retreat, you are invited to move at your own pace and listen to the wisdom of your body.
The Blue Lotus Ceremony is a heart opening tea ritual accompanied by a guided sound meditation, inviting you into a state of deep presence and inner awareness. Revered across cultures for thousands of years, the Blue Lotus has symbolized rebirth, purity, and the unfolding of inner potential. From ancient Egypt to Buddhist and Yogic traditions, it has been associated with wisdom, awakening, and the realization of the divine within.
Rooted in the mud and blooming untouched above the water, the lotus reflects our capacity to transform challenge into clarity and embody our highest expression. On a physical level, Blue Lotus supports the nervous system, gently guiding the body into relaxation and openness. The experience is subtle and non psychedelic, offering a softening into presence, clarity, and connection.
The fire ceremony is a sacred ritual of release and transformation, guided by Dale Moore, our fire keeper. In this practice, we gather in reverence to offer what no longer serves us into the fire. It is an offering to Great Spirit, a moment to consciously let go, and to trust in the alchemical power of transformation. Fire has long been honored across traditions as a force that transmutes and purifies. As we place our intentions into the flames, we are invited to release old patterns, emotions, or stories, allowing them to be transformed into something new.
The ceremony is both personal and collective, held within a shared field of presence, reflection, and renewal. You are always invited to participate in a way that feels aligned, honoring your own process of release and becoming.
Meals at Diamond Rose Sanctuary are an integral part of the experience, designed to nourish the body and support healing and connection. All meals are included and are organic, vegetarian, and entirely gluten free. Each dish is home cooked with care and intention. Our resident chef and fire keeper, Dale Moore, brings over 20 years of experience in food and beverage. Her work is rooted in the belief that food is medicine for mind, body, and spirit.
She creates nutrient dense, seasonal meals using local ingredients whenever possible, cultivating a seed to table relationship with the land. She also forages medicinal plants, weaving them into elixirs and dishes that draw upon ancient and alchemical traditions. Dale is a permaculturalist, energy worker, farmer, medicine maker, fungi cultivator, textile artist, and writer. Through her work, she embodies a regenerative way of living that supports the land, local farmers, and a deeper relationship with the Earth. Meals are shared in community and often become moments of connection and quiet joy.
