Lotus Temple
Consciousness

A space for breath, awareness and collective awakening
The Lotus Temple is envisioned as the central gathering space at Diamond Rose Sanctuary, dedicated to breathwork, healing and the exploration of consciousness. Designed to support transformational work, it will host breath journeys, sound ceremonies and retreats that invite participants into deeper connection with themselves, with others and with the living world around them.
The Temple of Consciousness will be a purpose built space on the grounds of Diamond Rose Sanctuary, replacing the limitations of the current hundred year old house that hosts our breathwork retreats today.
With a dedicated facility designed specifically for breathwork and mental health programming, Diamond Rose will be able to expand the number of retreats offered, welcome more participants and provide a proper setting for continued clinical research with partners at FSU and Yale.
Just ninety minutes from New York City, the temple offers a place to step out of the pace of the city and into an environment dedicated to personal and planetary healing.
The Vision

Sacred
Architecture

The Temple of Consciousness is conceived as a form of sacred architecture — a living system designed to support remembering and awakening at both the individual and collective scale.
Each temple becomes a node within a wider field where breath, sound and shared presence allow participants to reconnect with deeper awareness.
The Architecture

Light &
Presence

At the center of the temple, an oculus draws in the light of the sun, connecting sky and earth and grounding the space in the rhythms of the natural world.
Within this environment, breath and sound practices unfold in an architecture designed to support coherence, presence and connection.

A Field of
Connection
The Temple of Consciousness is a place where community is woven through shared breath, presence and reverence for the land that holds the sanctuary.

TEMPLE
STRUCTURES

Harmonic Geometry
The Lotus Temple is designed around multiples of twelve, reflecting patterns found throughout nature, the cosmos and the human body. At Diamond Rose, the temple will hold twenty four participants, creating an intimate field for collective breathwork journeys.
Across many traditions, twelve and its multiples symbolize harmony, order and completion. Within the temple, these proportions support coherence while remaining grounded in the land that holds the sanctuary.
The Tea Temple
The Tea Temple offers an intimate space for communion in silence, where up to twelve guests gather to experience the quiet power of shared stillness. Smaller than the Lotus Temple, it is designed to draw people into coherence and wholeness not through instruction or guidance, but through the simple act of being present together.
Open to the surrounding elements of sun, moon, wind and sky, the space creates a relational field where silence, nature and the ritual of tea invite participants into deeper presence.
Ritual as Medicine
Rooted in the centuries old tea ceremonies of Japan, the Tea Temple revives a tradition that understands ritual itself as medicine. Each gathering invites participants to slow down, allowing the preparation and pouring of tea to become a doorway into presence.
In this return to ritual and stillness, something essential is remembered: the most profound experiences of connection often require no words at all.
